【Introduction】:Carnival Cruise Line will not resume its North America operations until June 27.

Carnival Cruise Line will not resume its North America operations until June 27.

The decision comes days after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) extended a no-sail order from U.S. ports until mid-July or until Covid-19 is no longer deemed a public health threat.

Carnival had most recently halted its North America operations until May 11.

To minimize disruption, Carnival said guests and travel agents can manage the canceled cruise options online and asked for patience with its level of customer support. Offices are closed and technological limitations are hindering productivity.

Carnival said that it will use the pause “to continue to take care of the crew that remains onboard and continue to bring nonessential crew home” and to engage with the industry on additional protocols that will be implemented when service resumes.
