CYTS Publishes the 2020 Social Responsibility Report

On March 25th, CHINA CYTS TOURS HOLDING CO.,LTD.，(CYTS) published the 2020 Social Responsibility Report, the 12th corporate responsibility report in a row since the 1st one came out in 2009. The Report covers CYTS, its wholly-owned subsidiaries, holding subsidiaries and joint-stock companies.

The year of 2020 witnessed great achievements made throughout the country. China has built a moderately prosperous society in all respects, successfully implemented the 13th Five-Year Plan, achieved the first centenary goal, and won the decisive battle against poverty. In this context, CYTS has deepened reforms to reach the highest standards, fully tapped its own potential, expanded channels for integrating industrial and financial capital, and made full use of the strengths of such integration. In addition, it has combined various resources and improved the strategic layout while enhancing its core competitiveness to support cultural and tourism growth.

2020 was an eventful year. The unexpected pandemic dealt a heavy blow to the economic growth and social development around the globe. The culture and tourism industry was hit by unprecedented challenges. Against this background, CYTS has set a good example by shouldering its social responsibility. It kept pace with the pandemic prevention and control work around the country and tried to resume production and work in an all-rounded way. All members of the corporation joined hands in the fight against the epidemic and pulled through the worst times. Notably, the key projects of the company were still carried out smoothly during this period. Moreover, the tens of thousands of employees were uninfected and the major performance indicators gradually recovered to the pre-pandemic level.

The report is divided into three parts: the responsibility column, the stakeholders and their requirements to be met, and awards for shouldering great responsibility at the critical times. In 2020, CYTS never forgot to take its responsibility as a major enterprise owned by the central government and stayed devoted to the concept of “Accompanying You All the Time”. It fully utilized the strengths as a state-owned company and grasped every opportunity offered by the trend of marketization, thus enhancing its core competitiveness and contributing its part to meeting the public’s expectations for a better life.
