The Ministry of Construction, Transport, and Infrastructure announced that Belgrade Nikola Tesla Airport will not be closed at the time of the state of emergency due to the spread of the COVID-19 virus, but all commercial international flights to and from the Airport will be suspended at 12 o'clock on the basis of the decision of the Serbian Government on March 19, 2020.

The International Border Crossing at the Nikola Tesla Airport will be temporarily closed on March 19, 2020 by a decision of the Government of Serbia.

Belgrade Airport "Nikola Tesla" remains open for all humanitarian flights and cargo traffic, and Serbia's air space remains open for all flights. Passengers are advised to contact the airline for more detailed information on how to exercise their rights.

Serbia has 103 confirmed COVID-19 cases so far.

The government declared a state of emergency on Sunday and imposed a night curfew from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. local time (1900GMT to 0400GMT) starting Wednesday.

The country has also shut its borders to foreigners, while schools, colleges, sports halls, and gyms have been closed.
