World Tourism Cities Movie Exhibition – A Perfect Combination of Movies and Tourism

The opening ceremony of the ‘World Tourism Cities Movie Exhibition’ sponsored by the WTCF was held on September 13 at the Bailigong Movie Theatre on Jinbao Street. The Beijing Municipal Committee of Communist Party, Propaganda Minister, and Deputy Mayor, Lu Hui, addressed a speech at the ceremony. This exhibition is to advocate the landscapes and resources of world tourism cities, display the beauty of member cities and showcase features of Beijing as an international metropolis.

The exhibition will last for two days from September 13 to 14. Twenty excellent films from both home and abroad will be shown in 10 cinemas, which are: East Ring Movie Theatre, Jinbaohui Bailigong Movie Theatre, Xindong’an Movie Theatre, New Yinglian Huayi Brothers Movie Theatre, Jiahua International Movie Theatre, The Capital Cinema (Dayuecheng Branch), the Broadway Cinema of the Flower Market, Yangguang Cinema, Beijing Bona Jingpin International Movie Theatre (Wanshoulu Branch) and the New Century Movie Theatre.

The beautiful scenery of the city can bring perfect art scenes for movies, and on the other hand movies can advocate the best images of the city. They are deeply tied together, which has been reflected in most domestic and foreign movies. In the opening ceremony, the Beijing Broadcast and TV Office reached an agreement to cooperate with the Beijing Tourism Committee and signed the strategic cooperation agreement. Both parties expressed their wishes to be active in promoting the perfect combination of movies and tourism.
