By contrast, the Wienhandlung souvenir shop in the trendy Freihausviertel district focuses on culinary products, which come exclusively from Vienna. The shop supplies Viennese wine, including from the Christ, Edlmoser, Cobenzl, Hajszan-Neumann, and Wieninger estates. To go with the wine, it also stocks the wine glasses "Das goldene Wiener Herz" (The Golden Heart of Vienna).

Café Hawelka is represented here with its special coffee roastings "Josefine" and "Leopold", as well as the coffee cups to go with them. There's alsoViennese honey, vinegar from Gegenbauer, products from the Wiener Feigenhof and the Wiener Rosenmanufaktur. The Wienhandlung also sells bookson Vienna, CDs of Viennese songs, and selected designer goods such as humorous T-shirts with Sisi and Franzl motifs.

The Wienhandlung is also a restaurant, where Viennese wines can be tasted and Viennese products are on the menu: from Viennese ham from the Thum Schinkenmanufaktur to sausages from the local butchers, from 'Himbeerkracherl' to goulash.
