Harbin Guandao, or Daotai Mansion, resembles a landscape painting of Harbin in the past. It witnessed the city’s opening-up and was the last manor to be built nationwide. Although it has undergone some renovation, one can still feel what it was like back in ancient times when walking among the Qing Dynasty-style (1544-1911) buildings with their green bricks and black tiles.
