The Maoer (Hat) Mountain Ecological Tourist Resort is a natural scenic area about 80 kilometers away from downtown Harbin. Its peak is 805 meters high.

The mountain looks like a hat, which is why it called Hat Mountain, or “Maoer” Mountain in Chinese. There is an annual expedition festival held there in spring, attracting over 10,000 people.

There are four tourist areas in the resort - an aquatic tourist area, an agricultural sightseeing spot, an area for sports on ice and snow, and a religious cultural tourist destination.
