Ticket: 30 yuan ($4.8) for adults, 15 yuan for students and children between 1.2 and 1.4 meters, 20 yuan per person for Russian Exotic Town, 110 yuan per adult for Harbin Ice & Snow Art Museum, (children between 1.2 meters and 1.4 meters pay 50 yuan while children under 1.2 meters can enter for free).

Traffic Routes:

Take ferries to Sun Island at Flood Control Monument Ferry Dock;

Take Bus No 29 from Youyi Road to the Gate of Sun Island.

Attractions: Northern China landscape, river floodplain wetlands and grasslands, the biggest (so far) riverside ecological area in city, Russian Exotic Town, Harbin Ice & Snow Art Museum, Shuige Yuntian Park, Swan Lake, Squirrel Island, Harbin Xinxi Friendship Park, Sunny Waterfall.

Shopping: There are Russian matryoshkas and pottery handiworks selling at the Russian Exotic Town.

Walking out of Sun Island Scenic Area, you can see polar animals at Harbin Polar Land, as well as Siberian Tigers at Heilongjiang Siberian Tiger Park.
