Tickets for the ice lantern show in Harbin’s Zhaolin Park were sold at a reduced price from Feb 17 to 24, 2013.

Residents, soldiers, and students from universities and middle schools with a second-generation ID card or other valid identification document were able to buy 20-yuan ($3.2) tickets during the day and 30-yuan tickets at night. Non-local visitors could enjoy a 50 percent discount at 100 yuan during the day and 160 yuan at night.

Children under 1.4 meters and people over 70 years old are given free entry. The ice lantern show opened from 10 am to 9:30 pm during the eight-day festival.
