Songfeng Mountain Scenic Area is a provincial forest protection area, about 85 kilometers away from downtown Harbin.

The steep hills, beautiful landscapes and Taoist culture make this area a unique tourist destination in Northeast China. It was a royal summer resort and hunting ground in the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234).

The main attractions include Qipan (Chessboard) Mountain, Yancong (Chimney) Mountain, and Tianjing (Courtyard) Mountain.
