Luodai Ancient Town is located in the eastern suburb of Chengdu, which is a national AAAA level scenic area, with national key cultural relics’ protection units and one of the historic towns of China.The scenic area of Luodai is made up of three main parts - Luodai Ancient Town, Scenic Area of Golden Dragon Lake and Baosheng Original Ecological Hakka Village.
Luodai Ancient Town has a long history, with its first street said to be started in the Han Dynasty – named 'Wan Jing Street'. With thousands of years of history and mutual blending of diverse cultures, there are plenty of folklore, historical sites, ancient buildings and Hakka halls left.
Among them, there are many perfectly preserved historical sites, such as One Thousand-Year-Old Street, Hakka Halls, the Wu Family Mansion, Dipankara Temple, Peach Blossom Temple and many more, along with perfectly preserved various and distinctive folk activities, like the Fire Dragon Festival, Water Dragon Festival and other festivals.
Luodai Ancient Town is known as 'The First Town of Hakka in the World'.
