Hakka Park is located north of Fenyi Lane on 60 acres of land. It was built by Liu Huian and initiated by local people in Luodai Ancient Town. It is one of earliest government offices of Sichuan province.

The park features trees, flowers and plants, as well as a peaceful teahouse. Pavilions, porticos and couplets are carved into wood, creating an ancient atmosphere in the park. Most unique is the women’s teahouse, a place where Hakka women in the past gathered to relax, have tea and chat.

Men were not allowed. The couplet “Bored with the busy world, take a break; surrounded by tea smoke, stay in peace” in the women’s teahouse is a witness that Hakka women then possessed equal social status as men.
