Pasar Baru is a 7-storey market that houses local resellers of wide range of products ranging from textile, garments, shoes to souvenirs, food and locally produced decor items. Most items are bargainable.

Pasar Baru is normally crowded as soon as it opens in the morning until it closes around 5 pm. It is popular among tourists from South-East Asia especially from Malaysia.
