Robin's Nest Bed & Breakfast Inn encompasses an 1890 Victorian, a 1920s Craftsman, and a 1938 Southern Saltbox, that sit side by side on a quiet street in the Museum and Arts District, just steps from Montrose. It's one of Houston's oldest neighborhoods with homes dating from the 19th to early 20th century. Houston being Houston, there is now state-of-the art new construction woven within this historical neighborhood.

The original Victorian farmhouse was part of the success story of Betty and Frederick Kaufhold, who built a dairy farm “way out in the country” from Downtown Houston. Today it’s very much in the heart of the city, with Downtown skyscrapers, major museums, The Texas Medical Center and universities all within a couple miles of the former dairy farm. History has it that Betty and Fred were early Houston's socially active participants. Betty belonged to the Daughters of the Confederacy, and Fred was a carpenter by trade.

The "three ladies" setting side by side comprise a total of ten rooms and/or suites, ranging from bed and breakfast rooms to one and two bedroom suites. All have their own private baths and two have whirlpools. A continental or full breakfast is served.

The Robin's Nest also hosts retreats, weddings, reunions, corporate events, parties, showers, luncheons.
