Situated in the corner of Bayou Place, next to the Hard Rock Café, lies the Bayou Music Center. Formerly known as the Verizon Wireless Theater, this live music venue has brought big names like Cold Play, John Legend, Norah Jones and Nickleback through downtown’s theater district since 1997.

As a bi-level theater, Bayou has the ability to host up to 3,464 guests, while still keeping an intimate vibe that you would find at a smaller venue. With the lower level typically standing room only, the second story balcony provides reserved seating for those who would like to avoid the potential mosh pits and over zealous fans. VIP seating is also available for those who would like a more private experience.

The 130,000 square foot venue operates premiere lighting and sound technology creating a concert experience rivaled by few. But that’s not all it offers. Grab a drink at one of the six fully stocked bars—two flanking either side of the stage, one in the concert hall, two upstairs for the balcony seats and one more in the back of the theater. Concession stands are also available for those who didn't stop off next door before coming to the show.
