An elephant-hunters’ camp dating back 400,000 years, where the first traces of domestication of fire in the world have been discovered.
The Terra Amata Museum gives you the opportunity to visit the actual site of a pre-historic habitat with the oldest hearths used by humans 400,000 years ago.
Closed Monday and Tuesday.
Guided tour on Thursday at 4:00 pm.
