Nice is connected to all the great European cities by a major motorway network.

In particular, the A8 motorway, 'La Provençale', running from Aix-en-Provence to the West to the Italian border on the East.

 

Motorway exits in Nice

There are five exits from the motorway to reach all parts of Nice:

Exit n°50 : Promenade des Anglais

Exit n°51 : Saint-Augustin / aéroport

Exit n°52 : Saint-Isidore

Exit n°54 : Nice nord

Exit n°55 : Nice est

Sight-seeing itineraries

The Alpes-Maritimes département, with its many sightseeing itineraries, has recently benefited from major improvements providing the best conditions to reaching the hinterland and neighbouring regions and countries.

Route Napoléon (Route Départementale 6085, formerly RN 85) Cette route historique relie Bourgoin-Jallieu à Golfe Juan via Sisteron, Castellane, Grasse et Cannes.

Route départementale 6098 (The Basse Corniche) The coastal road from Hyères through Saint-Tropez, Cannes, Nice, Villefranche-sur-Mer and Menton.

Route départementale 6007 From the West, it goes through Fréjus, Saint-Raphaël and Cannes; from the Italian border, it goes to Menton, Monaco and Èze. (The Moyenne Corniche, The former Nationale 7).

 

Parking

Car-parks all round the city offer a total of 19.000 spaces.
