Jungoe Park is a popular park neighboring downtown where visitors can take a rest in the beautiful nature with all kinds of amusement facility. There Gangju Museum of Art, Gangju Folk Museum, and Gwangju Biennale Exhibition Hall etc take their place and many amusement facilities are prepared, so on holidays many visitors are crowded. It is especially famous for a maple attraction in autumn, the symbol of Biennale the rainbow bridge installed at the entrance of Gwangju, symbol of Biennale, and festivals hosted there like Gwangju World Kimchi Festival and Gwangju Biennale etc.
