There are a variety of getting to your destination once arriving at the Monterrey Airport. Like most other airports, there are buses and shuttles available, as well as taxis, and car rentals.

Taxis

Travelers can purchase pre paid taxi coupons from taxi counters in the airport. The prices vary on the destination “Zone” you choose, much like other Mexican cities. You can take a taxi without prepaying, just make sure to view some of our tips for public transportation before your faire begins.

A trip from the airport to the city in a taxi will generally take 20 to 30 minutes.

Shuttles

There is a skybus express service that runs regularly from 6 am to 11pm during the week, and runs less often on the weekends. The shuttle goes from the airport to the Valle Oriente terminal in the Monterrey city center. Additionally there is a minibus shuttle run by the company Suburban that can also take you to the airport.

The trip by shuttle takes roughly 45 minutes.
