The Science Centre and Technology Museum "Noesis" is a non-profit cultural and training foundation, with the aim of informing the public about the state-of-the-art developments in Science and Technology. The Center is housed in a building, whose morphology refers to the lever of Archimedes (300 b.C). Noesis has set as a strategic goal to become a leading attraction in Greece, as well in Southeastern Europe.

In the Center’s premises, visitors participate in several science-related shows run in the 150-seat digital Planetarium, the 300-seat Cosmotheatre, with the largest flat screen in Greece (17x23 m) in 2-D and soon in 3-D projection, and the virtual reality simulator. Its exhibitions cover topics related to science and technology, such as the Technology of Transportation section featuring car models that mark the history of the automobile, the Technopark section featuring interactive exhibits, the Ancient Greek Technology section featuring copies of ancient Greek machines and the Technology of Image section featuring a collection of old and new cameras. Visitors can also attend educational programmes as well as meetings and discussions with members of the scientific community.
