Enjoy the views from the highest point of Wat Saket, Phrabarombanpot or known simply as the Golden mount. The building represents the mountain with circulating staircase lead to the top where holy relic situated. Nearby is the mighty Mahakan fort, one of the two forts that still standing today. Bangkok used to have 14 forts situated along the city wall. You can walk from Ratchadamnoen Klang road to Khaosan road, one of the favorite destination in Bangkok, then to Phra Athit road where another fort is located, Phra Sumen fort. At the end of the day, you can relax at santichaiprakarn park and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Rama VIII bridge as well as enjoy a nice meal in many fine restaurant.
