Dalian Botanical Garden is an ecological garden gathering all kinds of flora from the north and south. The garden was first named Nanshanli Garden when it was founded in 1920. It then became Mi Sheng Ge Chi Garden in 1930. After its reconstruction on May 14, 1950, it was named Nanshan Garden. It changed its name again to Luxun Garden on September 5, 1966. In order to promote the development of gardening, the garden was renamed Dalian Botanical Garden on July 21, 1980.
