Sanjin International Hotel is located in the heart of Taiyuan City, just beside “Wuyi Square”, where Yingze Avenue, a major street in Taiyuan, joins up with the bustling Wuyi Road and Bingzhou Road. I. The Lobby Area

The lobby is divided into two floors, whose total area is 2,150 sq m, of which the first floor takes up 1,220 and the second floor occupies 930. On the first floor, you can find the reception desk, inquiries service, cashier, concierge, business center, a supermarket, a bookstore, a jade shop and a beauty salon. On the second floor, there is a western restaurant and a tea house. On the wall of the lobby’s second floor, there is a large mural 48 meters long and over 2 meters high, showing all the famous tourist attractions in Shanxi.

Business Center: Located in the northwest corner of the lobby’s first floor, it has an area of 60 sq m. In addition to providing services such as typing, photocopying, fax, international and domestic direct dialled calls, equipment rental and binding, it also offers air ticketing and travel agency services.

Supermarket: With an area of 60 sq m. you can buy a wide range of goods here including foreign-brand clothes, famous-brand cigarettes and wines, imported high-grade daily necessities, food, gifts, local specialties and common medicines.

Bookstore: This has an area of 70 sq m, and provides a variety of publications such as Chinese and foreign classics, best-selling books about economy, tourism or leisure, audio books, CDs, Chinese and popular foreign magazines as well as exquisite handicrafts and decorative paintings.

Beauty Salon: Located at the east corridor of the lobby’s first floor, it is open for 13 hours a day, providing services such as hair washing/dyeing, beauty care, skin care and massage.

II. Restaurants

The hotel has altogether six restaurants with 1600 seats, of which 1460 are for meals and 140 for tea.

Lobby Bar: Located at the east end of the first floor with an area of 240 sq m., it has 17 tables with 68 seats. The bar boasts an elegant environment and can provide fresh beer, tea, coffee and a variety of Chinese and foreign wines.

Tea House: Located at the west end of the lobby’s second floor with an area of 260 sq m., it has 20 tables with 60 seats. The Tea House’s elegant atmosphere is ideal for you to enjoy tea cultures. Over 20 kinds of famous tea are available here, including Guifeihuan, Fengyan and Binluochun. You can also play chess while having tea in this peaceful place.

Chinese Restaurant: Located at the east end of both the first and second floors with an area of 1,200 sq m., it has an elegant, quiet and comfortable environment. It has 21 large private rooms with 350 seats. Cantonese, Fujian, Chaoshan, Shanxi, Sichuan, and Beijing- style cuisines are served here.

Western Restaurant: Located at the northeast of the second floor with an area of 450 sq m., it has 28 dining tables with 120 seats, providing more than 70 kinds of fine cuisine including French, Russian and British food, as well as Salmon sashimi and specially cooked seafood like shrimp and crab.

III. Guest Rooms

Currently the hotel has 225 guest rooms with 317 beds. Among the rooms, 18 are deluxe suites, 43 junior suites, 48 standard rooms, 11 rooms for three people and the rest 105 single rooms.

IV. Meeting Halls/Rooms

The hotel has 9 meeting rooms of various sizes, which can contain 670 people. Four meeting rooms are large halls:

International Conference Center: Located at the east end of the lobby’s floor with an area of 854 sq m. It has a two-layer structure with a VIP lounge, a sound control room and simultaneous translation systems. It can hold 300 people and is an ideal place for large conferences, news conferences, exhibitions, receptions, theatrical performances and other large events.

Fenshui Hall: Located on the third floor of District C with an area of 130 sq m., this is a medium-sized conference room for 80 people.

Meishan Hall: Located on the third floor of District C with an area of 132 sq m. A medium-sized conference of 50 people can be held here.

Dingxiang Hall: Located on the third floor of District C with an area of 200 sq m. It is an entertainment venue for guests.

The hotel also has five smaller meeting rooms that can be used for meetings of 35 people or fewer. Computer projector, TV, video recorder, film projector, stereo and tea service are all available in each of the above meeting halls/rooms.

V. Recreation Area

The Recreation Area is located on the third floor of District C. Modern leisure facilities including a gym, billiards room, table tennis room and Karaoke room are all available.
