Miaole Pagoda, with more than a-thousand-year history, is the oldest and most well-preserved pagoda of its kind.
The Pagoda is 34.19 meters high with 13 floors and is made of corbel-style square bricks.
It is said to preserve a Buddha's sarira, a crystal-like bead-shaped object from that are the cremated ashes of Buddhist spiritual masters, according to the historical inscribed records.
The temple has been put on the List of National Cultural Relics Protection for better preservation in the future.
