Lao She Teahouse is a very famous teahouse and tourist attraction in Beijing today. It was built in 1988 and named after one renowned Chinese writer Lao She and his well-known novel Teahouse. This traditional Old Beijing style teahouse’s service area covers an area of 2,600 square meters, and guests at the teahouse can enjoy wonderful folk art and drama performances while having tea and eating uniquely-flavored snacks.
