The Canada Agriculture and Food Museum (French: Musée de l'agriculture et de l'alimentation du Canada) in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada, houses a modern working farm.

Its purpose is to illustrate how advances in farming science and technology have transformed the lives of Canadians. The museum holds exhibits, public programs, facility rentals, special events, and live demonstrations.

Animal Barns and Exhibitions: Open daily, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Closed December 25th.

Events held: Sheep Shearing Festival held each May, an Ice Cream festival held each August, A Barnyard Halloween, and Baskets with Panache! fundraising event are some of the fascinating events held at the Museum.

Location: (861) Prince of Wales Drive (between the traffic circle and Baseline Rd), Ottawa, Canada.

Plenty of parking ($) and bike racks. Bike parking available just before the Admissions booth. To reach the Museum by bus, please use the OC Transpo travel planner.

The museum is controlled by the Canada Science and Technology Museums Corporation, which is responsible for preserving and protecting Canada's scientific and technical heritage. The Corporation has a staff of about 275 and is responsible for three museums: • Canada Agriculture and Food Museum • Canada Science and Technology Museum • Canada Aviation and Space Museum The Museum is affiliated with the Canadian Museums Association, the Canadian Heritage Information Network, and the Virtual Museum of Canada.
