The Muséoparc Vanier Museopark is a non-profit community museum named for its location in the Richelieu Park. The museum's mandate is threefold: showcase the natural beauty of the Richelieu Park and protect its heritage forest, highlight and protect Vanier's cultural heritage and lastly, showcase the heritage and history of Ottawa's Francophones particularly those in Vanier. The museum is situated on the second floor of the Richelieu-Vanier Community Center in the beautiful Richelieu Park. The site also encompasses one of the only urban sugar shacks which is still in operation today.
