Known as ‘the Jiuzhaigou in the north China', the Taiping National Forest Park is situated in Taiping Valley in Huxian County, 44 kilometers (about 27 miles) southeast from Xi'an City. Taiping Valley is named after the Taiping Palace which was build by an emperor of Sui Dynasty. With a total area of 2,117 hectares (about 5,231 acres), and an average annual temperature ranging between 7 and 10 ℃, this park is gorgeous with its natural scenery, offering itself as a great place for visitors to refresh themselves.

Bus Route:
1. Xi'an Huanshan Tourist Line: On weekends and statutory holidays, the Huanshan tourist line 1 can be taken from 07:00 to 10:00 at the North Square of Big Wild Goose Pagoda. It returns from 14:00 to 17:00. A through ticket costs CNY8, CNY12 for bus with air-conditioner.
2. Take the Taiping Special Line in the Xi’an Chengnan (South) Coach Station. The bus leaves at 08:00-09:00 and return at 15:00-16:00.
3. The through bus to the Taiping Forest Park is available in Shuisi Coach Station
