The Shanyang Embroidery is as equally famous as Bianxiu Embroidery, mainly showing the natural landscapes of Jiaozuo, Henan province. It employs disordered needlework and plain stitches to make the embroidery.

Shanyang Embroidery has both the magnificent characteristics of embroidery from North China, and the graceful features of the embroidery from South China, with finished works being vivid and colorful.

Shanyang Embroidery, as the well-known cultural product of Henan province, won the gold medal at the National First Tourism Commodity Expo.
