The annual Spring Festival is held between September and October and is based at Wellington Botanic Garden amongst the tulip display.

The festival features:

- Dutch culture, family fun and entertainment on Tulip Sunday

- guided walks and activities at the Botanic Garden, Otari Wilton's Bush, and other venues around the city.

Most of the activities are free.
