This September 4 – 21, for 18 days in all, the MITO SettembreMusica music festival brings Milano and Torino together for the seventh consecutive year. An immense stage with over 200 events held in a slew of different locations throughout the host cities, from concert halls to auditoriums to churches, squares, courtyards, museums and more.

MITO SettembreMusica celebrates all music, the ideal setting for an overview of the history behind each musical genre. The festival features large international orchestras as well as chamber and ancient music ensembles, top-name artists in jazz, rock, pop and electronic music. MITO SettembreMusica presents world-class artists and musicians for an exciting, high-quality and diversified program.

Yuri Temirkanov, Antonio Pappano, Zubin Mehta, Vadim Repin, Mario Brunello, Aldo Ciccolini, Gianandrea Noseda and William Christie are just a few of the artists featured in a vast array of classical performances. Along with them, there’s jazz by Franco D’Andrea, Gregory Porter, Dean Bowman, vocalist Chrysta Bell, David Sylvian, the Braids, tango with Luis Bacalov, a tribute to Rachmaninoff featuring young stars from the international piano scene, and Gidon Kremer, Truls Mørk, Khatia Buniatishvili, Sol Gabetta, Salvatore Accardo, plus lots of shows for children and young people.
