At the far end of the west side of the exposition site is the Expo Center. It is one ofthe four key meeting points at the extremities of the Cardo and the Decumano. It is a space for indoor cultural and entertainment measuring 129,000 cubic meters.

Inside the Expo Center there are three independent blocks:

· Auditorium: a space for conferences and workshops with a purpose-built concert hall with seating for 1,500 people.

· Open Plaza: the central space for all shows and performances during the six months of Expo Milano 2015. Visitors can use this area to relax even when there are no shows taking place in the square.

· Meeting Area: made up of conference rooms, this area is located in the south part of the Expo Center.

Thanks to the flexible and adaptable nature of these structures, many different kinds of events and performances can be hosted here, be they musicals, theatrical performances or dance shows.
