After the success of the past editions, BookCity is back in Milan November 13 to 16 with a series of events (performances, readings, workshops and exhibitions) devoted to literature and its authors. The initiative will be featured in all of the libraries in Milan , including those located on the periphery of the city. BookCity is supported by Expo Milano 2015 and will provide citizens with its two pavilions in the city center, which will host the special events. Agora of Expo Milano 2015 , in the Cortile delleArmi of CastelloSforzesco, will be the site of the Book Store of Bookcity; a new part of this third edition, where you can browse and buy the more than 900 volumespresented in BookCity. There will also be many of the authors and key figures of the exposition present for signing copies of their books at the request of the public.

In the spaces Expo Gate , during the weekend, the full reading of Dante’s Inferno , will take place in several languages. and there will also be a preview of the “Romanzo del mondo”, the great choral narration, directed byThe WE - Women for Expo Project , will be a series of short stories related to the topic of nutrition carried out by many writers from all countries participating in the Universal Exposition.

The long-awaited 2014 will edition host the Israeli writer David Grossman in which the City of Milan, during the inauguration of the event to be held Thursday, November 13 at the Teatro Dal Verme, will confer him with the Seal of the City , an honor previously bestowed on the writer Wilbur Smith and director Luca Ronconi.
