The Civil Society Organizations will play a leading role at Expo Milano 2015. It is impossible to cover a theme so central to the future of mankind as Feeding the Planet, Energy for Lifewithout the participation and contribution of the Civil Societies. They will have a dedicated pavilion within the Exhibition Site, Cascina Triulza , which will come alive with events and initiatives related to the theme. The Cascina Triulza will be managed by the Triulza Foundation , which as a signatory of the Participation Agreement, will coordinate the indoor presence of the Civil Society Organizations, in collaboration with Expo 2015 S.p.A.

Civil Societies will also be present throughout the Site, with events, promoting cooperation with the other Participants. This will be exclusively for organizations with an international network that have signed a Participation Agreement to develop a cultural program based on the theme.

All the Civil Society Participants will have the opportunity to develop their experience and activities with an emphasis on best practices regarding the theme, promoting their activities in developing education and awareness on the various topics of the Universal Exposition. At Expo Milano 2015, the presence of Civil Societies will therefore be inclusive, widespread and rich in content.
