Now in its twelfth edition of the Festival della Scienza ( Science Festival) of Genoa with over 200,000 visitors in 2013, has established itself as one of the biggest events for the dissemination of scientific culture at international levels and is a meeting point for researchers, enthusiasts, schools and families. The keyword this year is Tempo (time) and this will be discussed through a broad range of meetings, workshops, performances and conferences in which science will be addressed in an innovative way with engaging and interactive events. It will be ten days that break down the barriers between the mathematical sciences, natural and human resources and research that you can touch, see and understand.

The Mangiaparole: a crossword puzzle ten meters long, inspired Foody

Feeding the Planet, Energy for Life is the theme of Expo Milano 2015 . Proposing the theme to readers and to all those who will speak at the Festival dellaScienza of Genoa on the topics related to proper nutrition and the different foods that people on Earth have "invented " over the centuries, Focus Junior , Partner of Expo Milano 2015, has chosen an approach of learning while having fun. At the Festival dellaScienza Festival of GenoaMangiaparole will be present , a giant crossword puzzle 10 meters in length. To complete the puzzle, one must get to know Foody , the mascot of Expo Milano 2015, and the 11 characters that accompany him. Through the classic game, children will have the chance to discover the identity of the mascot and immerse themselves into the world ofExpo Milano 2015. The uniqueness of the crossword puzzle, in addition to the theme that inspires it, is its exceptional size. It will be found under the portico of the Doge's Palace, the structure of the puzzle is more than ten meters long and two meters high. It can be played from 9:00 to 18:00, Monday through Friday, and from 10 to 19 on Saturday and Sunday. Each participant will receive a gift.
