Milan World Expo 2015, one of the most eye-catching events in 2015, will present the world excellence and reality, fortune and opportunity, glory and expectation.

The marvelous world will never stop to change and evolve, bringing us endless opportunities and creativity. In our mind, the world seems to be one full of uncertainty, illusion and expectation. In fact, it is not only mysterious and illusory but also very real. The world is real because it is reflected in our inner heart. It can be either big or small based on our ambition and vision. It offers us opportunities to explore, discover and create. In fact, it is not beyond our reach, we can feel it with our heart and touch it with our effort.

The world is the very place where we continuously step over the original conventions and fixed models so as to create glory and to live up to our own expectations. It is built upon the development of a string of extraordinary heroic stories as well as the labor and creation accumulated by the public from the agricultural, industrial and commercial fields. Human stories and the evolution of history are the results of natural revolution. From the beginning of human civilization, they have been injected with our broad and open minds, our pursuit and attachment to spiritual homeland, our comprehension of life and the accumulation of wisdom and culture. The world has thus too much splendor, brimming with human beings’ endless desire and efforts and dedication. Owning to the creation and inheritance, civilization has reached to the peak of perfection. Until today, it can still broaden our horizon, increase our knowledge, update our cognition, bring forth new ideas, freshen and enliven our thoughts and develop much more opportunities, thus making our life more meaningful and the society more energetic. Our attachment to and desire for life is bound to be associated with the fact that we must stick to our inner world and just let it go when facing undesirable things. While guarding the spiritual homeland which we have inherited, we should never stop exploring and discovering new and more capacious space, we should, inherit and pass on the material culture that has showcased the real and colorful human life to next generations. Civilization contains innumerable products and achievements created during the past thousands of years, and material is the externalized existence of it. Therefore, we can come to the conclusion that it is Mother Nature that creates human beings through history.

Europe, such a vast territory, is so different from China’s history and culture. It boasts a long and rich cultural tradition. From ancient Greece and ancient Rome, Europe has been one of the earliest origins of the four ancient civilizations. Since ancient times, it was already strong in agriculture, industry and commerce and rich in natural resources and scenery. The World Expo 2015 will be held in the city of Milan, Italy. The Shanghai World Expo 2010 has successfully attracted about 75 million people around the world. Now the Milan World Expo is another brainchild of the World Expo committee. With careful planning, elaborate design, the Milan World Expo focuses on “quality of human life and life health”, which has attracted the greatest attention worldwide. It was designed to promote sustainable development of the society and economy and to bring a greater variety of consumption goods. It is a new event paying more attention to “material production and development” in “agriculture, industry, commerce and education” and many other social fields.

From the very beginning, human civilization has been connected to the basic products and the geographical environment of cultivation. The city-states along the Mediterranean Coast were a perfect place where different means of livelihoods produced by different neighboring regions were easily brought together and circulated. In there, people enjoyed the free social and humanistic environment and fair ideology and social systems; the building materials were easy to get and skillful craftsmen and men with imaginative mind gathered there. With all of these basic conditions for freedom and prosperity, the scattered city-states along the Mediterranean Coast thus were endowed with prosperity, various products and frequent exchanges, upon which treasures had been accumulated. The accumulation of treasures would inevitably lead to envy and greed for fortunes which would then evolve to the concentration of power and fortunes and the emergence of strong power. Owning to its favorable location along the Mediterranean Coast, its ambition to make the European Continent the center of the world, the precondition of worldwide circulation of wealth, the method of collecting treasures from the whole world and the concept of making the world’s principles the core, areas centered around Rome and many other neighboring city-states have witnessed thousands of years greatness and prosperity. It was followed by endless challenges, occupation and replacement as well as the evolution of thoughts and the ultimate perfection of wisdom. Republican and dictatorship, monarchy and theocracy, darkness and brightness, ideas and beliefs were of the same strength. In order to counter against the royal monarchy, the Vatican of theocracy and belief was established. The Renaissance Movement and science emerged against the backdrop of darkness and autocracy. Such kind of social model evolved again and again and went forward with difficulties. From Rome to the north shore of Mediterranean, it has never ceased and thus laid a foundation for European and American ethical system. They also drafted the Civil Law, Natural Law and Corpus Juris Civilis which are the greatest contribution that the European civilization has made to the world history. The above laws are of a complete legal system that address issues on relationships between people, nations, regions and countries and constitute the core of Western laws - the general rule of civil laws and law of market economy focusing on “privilege under the private ownership” and “private ownership under privilege”. The Civil Law claimed equal importance with the Bible. The original creation of Ares and the plot of heroes coming one after another, the pursuit for thoughts and beliefs, the admiration for education and science, the habit of reading and writing books, the competition between eloquence and strength, the guts of fearlessly moving forward, the ambition of being the best and the establishment of the principle of “survival of the fittest” have all been imbued into the blood of Europeans. Thus, Italy was endowed with a long history. The so many dreams and pursuits also brought the so many brilliant achievements. At the same time, the incessant greed brought about luxury and perfection and brought material wealth and the age of innovation. People were not defeated by the long history. Instead, they created their own life and various material civilizations that made life continue. Such a civilization can be seen everywhere in Italy, a vivid reflection of its history and the splendid civilization. From prehistoric times to modern society, Italy boasts abundant glories in history, each chapter of which had been etched in this city. From the ancient enlightenment age, barbarous age, legendary age and hero age to the civilian period, monarchic period, republican period, empire period, theocracy period and Renaissance, Italy has been walking at the center and the forefront of the world history. It is also an important and the most competent player in the following areas: rhetoric, orator, dialectics, history, law, mathematics, astronomy, geometry, drawing, sailing, ethics, music, aesthetics, architecture, theology and the secular farming, species, clothing, textiles, accessories, fragrance, food, cooking, fashion and style despite the fact that some of these might be the most ordinary thing in the world. Being prominent can bring honor and respect. All of these contributed to the great European civilization so that the rest of the world cannot compete with it. Black and white, strength and beauty, contrast and comparison, contradiction and integration, technological advancement and scientific pursuit, exploration and discovery, update of concepts, stubborn rigidness, unswerving sameness, being conservative and closed, inheritance and accumulation, all of these have coexisted in Italy, embodying the diversity of Europe. For thousands of years, Italy was geographically and historically located at the center of the world and had an inseparable connection with Europe, Asia and Africa. Today, against the context of globalization, we need not only to build a good relationship with Western countries but also to perform better than them. Although Italy today, situated at the center of the Mediterranean Sea, has been overtaken by other stronger Western powers, the tradition of inheritance is still observed here. To deeply understand Italy and its past history, including Lombardy (once being translated as “Rumba Deaton” in historical records) the whole northern part of Italy, Milan and its history constitutes the key to understanding this modern society.

After “Shanghai Expo” - a successful masterpiece in Expo history, Milan World Expo will not only carry forward the great cause and forge ahead into the future, but also make a fresh start for paying closer attention to the opportunities and benefit of “life and production and development of social material”. There is no doubt that everyone in the world wants to create opportunities, to discover a new way ahead, and to be the early bird. Hence innovation and excellency are the subtext of the Milan Expo 2015 theme.

The Alps, the highest mountains in Europe, stretches eastwards from Nice, France on the northern coast of Mediterranean to Vienna, Austria, crosscutting the European Continent into two parts. Milan is located on the Lombard Plain, the biggest plain in Apennine Peninsula on the south of the Alps Mountains. It boasts a mild climate, abundant rainfall, rich sunshine and a vast amount of lush forest. The Po River, rising from the Alps, flows through here. Owing to the Alps, Milan is endowed with high mineral-content soil, most fertile tillage soil and prosperous agriculture, winning itself the reputation of “the barn of Europe” for a very long time. Surrounded by plenty of rivers, valleys and plains, Milan has always been rich in natural products owing to its diversity of soil property and climate, making a habitat for reproduction of agriculture and livestock in southern Europe. Since ancient times, from Toulon and Marseille on Coted’Azur in France in the west to countries in Balkans, Asia Minor, and the Middle East and the West Asia on the Black Sea coast, Milan has always been the junction of the land transport between the east and the west along the northern shore of Mediterranean, enjoying a convenient transportation which, as a result, promoted development of local handicraft and business. After the settlement of Romans in 222 BC, Milan gradually developed into a major commercial and trade city, and played a vital role when the western civilization begun. It once, for a short time, served as the capital of the Western Roman Empire, and was the second largest city in Europe until the end of the Middle Ages.

The maritime trade and port cities along the Mediterranean has always been prosperous, but monopoly bulk trade was indispensable for maritime trade. Therefore, for the small- and medium- sized businesses focusing on land-borne trade of handicraft and agricultural and sideline products, Milan has always been their perfect business place as it is more flourishing than the city of Rome and other port cities. Located in Lombardy Plain between the Alps and the Apennine mountains, Milan has been tightly related to “Cinque Terre”, Genoa coast “Coast of Sunset” in Riviera of Italy, Levante “Coast of Rising Sun”, and Venice “ the Oriental Coast”. Genoa and Levante, in particular, enjoy beautiful scenery, mild weather, comfortable life and their glamour as ancient fishing ports, even Byron and Shelley would be obsessed with them. Many villages and towns in Portofino and Bordighera have been internationally famous, among them, Savona is called “Paarl” (Riviera of Palms), and San Remo, “Riviera of Flowers”.

Today, Milan is the capital of the Lombardy region, the most densely populous and economically developed area. It was once the world capital of religion for its special history, favorable location and all those great men. The “5 Good Emperors” of Italy started the first large-scale construction of marble buildings in Milan, and replaced the previous masonry by marble architectures of Athens temple, making Milan the first eternal city of architecture in the earliest times. After that, Milan has been accepted as a world-known capital of fashion and design, and its architectural landscape are just fabulous and elegant. Milan has a population of 7.55 million in urban area and the northern Italy, with a population of 13.64 million, covers regions of Piedmont, Liguria, Emilia-Romagna, Veneto, and Tuscany. The urban Milan area, covering 3,214 square kilometers, boasts more than half of the world’s major fashion brands. All the famous fashion brands worldwide have set up their agencies in Milan and more than half of them established head offices there, making Milan the head of the four world capitals of fashion and a worldwide famous historical and cultural city. All these gorgeous and classical marble architectures as well as the largest Gothic building and the world’s second largest church have won Milan the reputation of “a masterpiece of poetry written with marble architectures” Even Napoleon, emperor of the First Empire of France, chose Milan to held his coronation. It is an internationally famous culture city. All the European and American culture connotations, ideologies and beliefs, and lifestyles demonstrate the great heritage accumulated during the long history. Every single brick and every painting tells stories about the Renaissance and humanity. There are too much unknown surprises and glamour for people to discover, experience and appreciate. Milan possesses the best classical models for you to appreciate the splendid and extraordinary works. Luxuries created by craftsmen here are just like artistic works. The Europeans are still committed to the diligent and sincere pursuit for art. Milan, a city of so much cultural glamour.

It makes people perceive what truly the spirit and the core value of the cultural art are. In everyday life, we are always subconsciously trying to deliberately destructing traditions with indulgence, subversion, rebellion as well as bizarre metamorphosis, to reveal our personality through the so-called “performance art”, “innovative thinking”. We possess the power of making art extremely abstract, void and absurd. But why, the European mainstream society has always regarded the guidance of positive energy and the belief in the soul at cultural-art-and-spiritual level, especially the architectural art which can best embody the core value of culture and art, as the orthodox, and has never endowed bizarre art the status it deserved, never allowed the so-called modern and fashionable spirit that have lost faith and sentiment to replace the orthodox. It makes people can't help sighing while being hopeful at the same time.

Milan, which has hosted the World Expo1906, will host the World Expo 2015, in which, the government of Italy as well as that of Milan will exhibit people a more fashionable Expo theme and a more beautiful city image. The Milan World Expo will be held on the opposite side of the famous Milan exhibition hall. Covering a wide area, it’s a huge project. Three 60-story new skyscrapers have been built in Milan, which will be viewed as the symbol of Expo 2015.

The theme of this Expo - “Feeding the Planet--Energy for Life” - is closely related to the characteristics of Milan, and it was designed to seek the greatest opportunity for all mankind, to study those natural, high-quality, healthy, safe and traditional products and food which act in accordance with the principle of sustainable development, and which, though isolated, have benefited the local people for a quite long time. Representing the best embodiment of food species protection, the Expo will display and promote tradition and innovation, cultivation and protection, as well as craft and improvement in the industry of food and living supplies. Especially food issues, the theme mainly explores such problems as the craft and technology during the whole process of food production, improving the quality, taste, freshness and safety of food, ensuring the diversity and health of the human diet so as to prevent disease, guarantee the circulation of the food chain and the innovation of the supply chain. It will recommend to society the “Real Value”, “Direct Value”, and “Un-split Value by Promotion”. What's more, it will display samples, impart knowledge, introduce technologies and machinery to the public, promote new knowledge of market, and push forward production and lifestyle.

Milan is not only a fashion capital, but also the most advanced model in the global garment industry, a design and production base of living supplies of choice materials and design, including shoes and hats, bags, leather wares, jewelry and furniture, as well as the research, development and manufacturing base of various complete sets of equipment and ancillary machinery for the production of items above. Life never ends, production never stops, the Milan Expo will home majorities of opportunities, which is also the subject that this Expo will show and promote to the world once again. Items above are mainly exhibited in the Italian pavilion.

The world's best wine is produced in the south of Europe. Italy, located to the south of Alps, has long been the home of grape wine. Different territories, soils and climates from the most southern Sicily to the valley of Apennines and finally to the foot of Alps together with traditional craft have given birth to thousands kinds of high-quality wines of different bulk. But due to a lack of market operation for a long period, and being produced in the remote area known by few people, those full-bodied wines of different styles, whose quality has undergone the test of thousands of years, failed to enjoy a reasonable price in local market. This is another theme of the Milan Expo.

This Expo will also be practical to highlight some other related subjects, such as trade measures and the strategy of sustainable development, etc.. The food-related theme alone covers science and technology of agriculture and biodiversity. The theme also includes: seeking sustainable balance between farming, animal husbandry, fishery, aquaculture and natural resources, professional survey, technology and ethics; the innovation of agricultural science and technology and that of the food supply chain so as to meet the requirements of science, technology, traditional knowledge needed in food production in the future and the demands of new customer; diet and education; cooperation between families, schools, companies, associations and scientific communities so as to promote the communication about correct dietary nutrition; food that can lead to a better way of life; establishment of a beneficial link between food on one hand and health, social system and individual demand on the other; food and culture; dialogue and communication between people from all walks of life on food and related arts and cultural tradition; cooperation and development conducted around food; development of tools and technical cooperation; respect of the characteristics of different participants; promotion of practical innovation of partnership, etc.. Those exhibitions in Expo 2015 related to the cause of people's livelihood such as health care and medical services, showcase new characteristics such as a rich content, a high degree of exhibition, a wide range of communication, trade and cooperation, and an effective business platform offered by the Expo.

The concepts of sustainable development and innovation are fully embodied in the theme of Milan Expo 2015. Guidelines for exhibitors stress that exhibitions should align with the theme of Expo 2015, with further explanations as followed: 1. Promoting sustainable development and environmental protection 2. Providing scientific and technical social service 3. Putting an end to diseases by checking the correlation between food and health 4. Improving the effective and rational choices of the producers and the clients 5. Being committed to carrying out cooperation 6. Offering a pleasant and unique experience of food and cultural diversity. The World Expo 2015 comes up with new standards and norms for future social life and production development in terms of technical crafts and rules. The Milan World Expo will be held under the theme respondent and complementary to that of the Shanghai World Expo, “Better City, Better Life”, especially to “agriculture” and “food crisis”, topics of most concern to the global well-being. It plays a potential role in the sustainable development of global economy, with the most practical value to buffering the economic crisis and approaching issues of population growth, environmental improvement and food safety. It will enormously influence the industrial, agricultural, business and academic communities around the world and greatly expands the market space.

“Feeding the planet”- part of the theme of Milan Expo 2015 - also involves the following issues: dealing with starvation, desertification and the agro sustainable development. It, therefore, attracts close attention of the UN and full participation of governments.

Italy’s central and local governments go to great lengths to sponsor Milan Expo 2015. Under the aforementioned theme, the Expo receives positive response from governments, international organizations and business groups. By July 10, 2014, 147 countries and international organizations have confirmed their participation. Covering an area of 1.1 million square meters, the exhibition area boasts an unprecedented investment of 1.3 billion euro from all levels of Italian governments and 400 million euro from private sources.

The Expo makes an innovation by abandoning the tradition of dividing the sites by geographic locations or different continents, and designing the pavilion layout based on specialized themes. There are dozens of visiting routes on various topics and all the pavilions will face the Expo Boulevard. As for food and agriculture in particular, the food cycle from farm to table is presented to demonstrate the complete process from crops cultivation to food processing, distribution, preservation and sale.

The participants of Milan Expo 2015 can be divided into two categories, with official attendants including countries and international organizations on the one hand and non-official ones including international districts, businesses, societies and organizations and Italian institutions on the other. There are self-built pavilions, rented pavilions with its service offered by the Expo and joint pavilions centering on one theme with the participation of different countries. The self-built pavilions are in three different sizes, 500 square meters, 1000-2000 square meters and 4500 square meters. The Expo organizer requires that all the self-built pavilions dedicate no less than 30% of the exhibition area to greening and outdoor activities, ensuring that green areas and sites for outdoor activities account for at least 56% of the entire Expo Park.

Guided by the leading concept of paying attention to water resources, the Expo Park is designed to be surrounded by waterways. The interior is divided into international pavilions and district pavilions of Italy by the crossed north-south and east-west principal axes. The organizor has planned an array of featured visiting routes to satisfy the needs of different tourists. Moreover, the Expo embraces an innovative exhibition model: in addition to the local pavilions of Italy and international pavilions for different countries, nine main thematic pavilions on food and agriculture are set up. The main thematic pavilions fall into two categories, namely identification class and food and goods chain class. The former includes: 1. Challenges of climate change and water resources scarcity 2. Islands, oceans and food 3. An ecological Mediterranean - health, beauty and harmony. The latter includes: 1.Quality and quantity - rice 2. Food of God - coco 3. Engine of originality - coffee 4. Additives of life - vegetables, oil crops and fruits 5. Old and new crops: cereal and rootstock crops 6.spicy world.

Aiming to attract developing countries, the Milan Expo 2015 takes on a small exhibition scale. The visiting routes have been drawn out lest the deviation of major countries’ self-built pavilions from the main visiting route would distract the public attention. And all the visiting routes are designed based on the principle of equal opportunity and equal access to public attention.

Located on the far end of the western part of the Expo exhibition area, the exhibition center of Expo 2015 is one of the four major conference sites at the intersection of Cardo and Decumano. With an interior area of 129,000 cubic meters, the center can hold cultural and recreational activities. It has three independent areas including a convention center for various conferences and seminars, and a dedicated concert hall with a capacity of 1500 people.

In the south of the exhibition center, there is a convention area comprising multiple meeting rooms of different sizes for the use of scientific research results presentations and product recommendations. The Expo also has an open-air square serving as the center area for parades of floats and drum corps, performance and exhibition activities during the 6-month Milan Expo 2015. Tourists can have a rest on the square when no performance is scheduled. This expo highlights the flexible functions and wide usage of building facilities, which is the reason why several pavilions are capable of holding all sorts of activities and performances, such as musicals, dramas and dance shows.

With Italy as the host, the Italy Pavilion serves as the symbolic core of the whole exhibition area and will be set as a permanent landmark of Milan City after the Expo, being a scientific and technological innovation center. Italy Pavilion was designed by well-known designers including Studio Nemesi & Partners Srl, Proger SpA and BMS Progetti Srl, with the inspiration from the city’s long history and culture and its surrounding natural environment.

Pavilions of Milan World Expo are highly characterized by intense Italian traditional feelings and diverse regional cultures, with a large top viewing platform in the center so that tourists could take a whole view of the spectacular venue. The design of the pavilions seeks to highlight vitality and stimulate visitors’ aspiration visually. Besides, in accordance with modern social ethnics and philosophy, Milan World Expo committee proposed that Italy Pavilion should present itself as a tree or a forest with sustainable “sunshine art”, indispensable brightness and nature, spectacle and energy conservation, leading science and technology and ensuring that buildings and facilities can exchange energy with surrounding environment through latest technologies. This requirement indeed causes a long-time thinking by architectures who racked their mind to repeatedly deliberate various plans. “The pavilion now seems nothing special but it will turn out to be amazing once the mysterious veil is threw away,” said the organizers.

Milan World Expo 2015 will be another masterpiece that people are expecting to see. It surely will be the greatest exhibition which will display new and great changes in production and development of products, science and technology, ideas, inventions and all aspects of social life over the past five years. Another significant principle of this Expo is that we do not pursue development at all cost. Instead, we hope to be more resilient while gaining vitality, which could be best achieved by focusing on people’s livelihood. Relying on government policies to achieve long-term, comprehensive and stable development is always unsustainable and localized. We advocate that everyone should innovate to make a self-change, even a slightest one. Every real progress we achieved in manufacturing and techniques by making the most of our own advantages and characteristics is exactly truly beneficial to the nation and the people. Short-termism, a trait of policy, just runs counter to the leadership.

Milan Expo 2015 will run for 184 days from May 1 to October 31, 2015.

Milan is a member of the World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF). Both its municipal government and tourism agencies as well as the World Expo Organizing Committee maintain close relations with the federation. They have come to an agreement to provide Chinese visitors with the most favorable package tickets to Milan Expo. What’s more, based on the exhibition, they have newly designed multiple classic travel routes in Italy and Southern Europe for visitors to the Expo. And several international tourism companies subordinate to WTCF have been engaged in the designing process. To find more information about Milan Expo and traveling in Italy, you may visit the website of WTCF, the official website of Milan government, the tourism websites of those mainstream media, and the product websites of the international tourism companies subordinate to WTCF.

In one word, the tourism resources in Milan alone could be abundant and unique enough to dizzy your eyes and touch your heart. A few-day tour can hardly allow you to visit every place of interest or enjoy the city to the full. The Chuch of Santa Maria Delle Grazie and the mural painting of The Last Supper by Leonardo da Vinci - the masterpieces of the Renaissance - are just so mysterious and spectacular. The Last Supper, together with The Last Judgement by Michelangelo and The School of Athens by Raphael are considered as the three best-known paintings of the High Renaissance. Thus, this great work alone will undoubtedly make your tour to Milan a rewarding trip.

In Matthew 26 of the New Testament, while having dinner with his 12 apostles on the eve of the Passover, Jesus said: “one of you will betray me.” The words shocked all the people present. According to this description, Leonardo da Vinci depicted the various expressions of the 12 apostles vividly with keen brushwork full of emotions. Leonardo integrated techniques of perspective with Baroque art factors in infancy for the first time, creating a top-down composition of stability. To show a unique artistic effect, Leonardo also, unprecedentedly, tried to mix paint with albumen in a bold way. On the content of the painting, the scene of Passover celebration is quite different: 12 apostles felt shocked the moment Jesus disclosed that lightning-bolt message. In the twinkling of an eye, Jesus, in the center of the picture, immersed himself in a solemn and tragic sentiment and did nothing, while the expressions of the 12 apostles are just complex and their postures varied with their different feelings infecting with one another: one jumped up from his seat, one raised his hands in astonishment, one was with fraught expression, and one was heated with passion, seemingly to fight the traitor...All these show the mental state of every apostle. In the painting, Judas was put, with other apostles, near Jesus, without deliberately indicating which one is Judas, making the theme much more dramatic. Another remarkable feature of The Last Supper is that all figures even Jesus have no holy light. Using perspective, Leonardo made Jesus the center of the picture, and the holy light was replaced by the light from the window, with Judas standing in a poor light, emphasizing the real life and ordinary people, and highlighting, incisively and vividly, the most important theme of Renaissance - life and human nature. The painting was emitted with the bright glory of “humanism”. Leonard mixed oil with glue while painting and he smeared pigment on the dry wall directly without rendering, so cracks already begun to appear on the mural before it was finished, and it was easy to peel off. In addition, due to moist air and bombing during World War II, this fresco was almost broken completely. The scents left by poor restoration after World War II just add insults to its injury. Therefore, it is indeed a release to appreciate on the spot the great mural that is 8.8 meters long and 4.97 meters high.

What makes Milan an even more amazing place to visit is that it was subjected to carpet bombing during World War II as a major industrial center of Italy. Even after Pietro Badoglio overthrew the Mussolini fascist regime and surrendered to the allies in 1943, it still suffered from bombardment. By the end of the Italian Wars on April 25, 1945, Milan was heavily damaged and many urban districts were just in ruins. After the war, Milan was reconstructed according to its original construction and again became a significant financial and economic as well as industrial center. The industry manufacture of Italy has always been famous for its best quality. In the car industry, Fiat's Ferrari is the solid evidence. It reflects the core conception of the auto industry, that is, “the most excellent controllability and no mechanical problems”. People of Milan say that housing construction is “the attachment of our life and spiritual homeland” and “our persistent pursuit for nobility and enduring yearning for history and civilization”. They also say that “after the war, no matter how hard it is, we cling to a belief that we will use each piece of brick and sewn to restore, in accordance with the original appearance of history, the world and our life that we should never lose”. They add: “Civilization is not an illusory concept or cognition, but an eternal image built by every piece of stone and is the continuity of life”. It is a kind of “tenacious and different” commitment which can be aptly evaluated as “enduring and persistent”.

Indeed, this is the greatness and beauty of the world. It’s in our hearts and as long as we are persistent in it, it will always be there. The world treats everyone equally, but its mighty and significance only falls on those who have the courage to stride forward and those who accept the challenges with strong heart and perseverance. Therefore, he who dares step forward is readily to be successful. Man is always the subject of this objective world.

Milan World Expo 2015 will be a grand feast for the world for sure and we have the confidence to make it a success. Just keep your expectation high for it.
