【Introduction】:On Nov 3, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 17 new cases of confirmed infections (15 imported cases, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Guangdong province, 3 in Sichuan province, 2 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Fujian province and 1 in Shaanxi province; 2 indigenous cases, both in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region), 1 new case of suspected infections (an imported case in Shanghai), and no deaths.
On Nov 3, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 17 new cases of confirmed infections (15 imported cases, 4 in Shanghai municipality, 3 in Guangdong province, 3 in Sichuan province, 2 in Inner Mongolia autonomous region, 2 in Fujian province and 1 in Shaanxi province; 2 indigenous cases, both in Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region), 1 new case of suspected infections (an imported case in Shanghai), and no deaths. 16 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 491 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained unchanged.
As of 24:00 on Nov 3, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 3,460 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 3,136 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 324 confirmed cases (no cases in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on Nov 3, the National Health Commission had received reports of 86,087 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 81,061 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 392 confirmed cases (including 9 cases in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases. 865,425 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 16,572 were still under medical observation.
On Nov 3, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 128 new asymptomatic cases (including 12 imported cases). 20 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (all were imported cases) and 5 asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases (including 3 imported cases). As of 24:00 on Nov 3, 828 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 482 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on Nov 3, 5,958 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 5,345 in Hong Kong (105 had died and 5,109 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (all had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 567 in Taiwan (7 had died and 521 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
