Dar el Beida, an ancient city of Morocco, located in the Atlantic Coast, is the largest port city of Morocco, and the economic and transportation center of the country; 70% of modern industry of the country cluster here; its urban and suburb areas have over 1,000 factories, industrial and commercial and financial centers, which is always known as the “lung lobe of Morocco”. It has a mild climate, with the average temperature of 12℃ in January and 23℃ in August, and its annual precipitation is 400 mm. The city was formerly called Casablanca, meaning “white house” in Spanish.
