The number of tourists in Berlin is expected to rise again soon. Next week, hotels and holiday residences may also reopen for tourism. However, there are restrictions there as well.
From 25 May 2020, hotels and operators of holiday homes may again offer overnight stays for tourists. "Buffets may not be offered here either. Spa and wellness areas must also remain closed," informed the Senate Department for Economics. Otherwise, the current hygiene rules will also apply to the hotels and other accommodation establishments when they reopen.
Excursions and city tours may also be offered again from 25 May. This also applies to boat tours. Guided tours and guided walks are then again permitted under strict conditions. This permission is only valid for outdoor activities which guarantee the observance of the minimum distance between participants and the general hygiene requirements.
