The Marrakech-Safi Region launches its promotional campaign

【Introduction】:Under the guidance of the National Tourist Office of Morocco (ONMT), the Regional Council of Tourism (CRT) Marrakech-Safi is about to launch a major digital promotional campaign.

Under the guidance of the National Tourist Office of Morocco (ONMT), the Regional Council of Tourism (CRT) Marrakech-Safi is about to launch a major digital promotional campaign.

The campaign aims to revitalize tourism in the region of Marrakech-Safi and send a positive signal for international tourism by spotlighting this region as being the first touristic destination of the Kingdom.

The time has come for the re-launch of the tourism sector in the Marrakech-Safi region! The tourism players in the region of Marrakech, Essaouira, Safi and the province of Al Haouz (Ourika, Ouirgane, Imlil, Toubkal ...) have but only one urge: welcoming national and international visitors and making them discover new experiences. To do so, they propose attractive offers of up to -50% and emphasize a scrupulous respect of the sanitary protocols put in place by the Ministry of Tourism and the local authorities.

To support this strategy, a major promotional campaign will be launched by the Regional Council of Marrakech-Safi, in partnership with the ONMT.

A campaign with a modern twist

An invitation to travel that is inspired by phone conversations between friends and family members, the message is direct, clear, and effective: "I'm in Marrakech, are you coming?", "I am in Essaouira, are you coming? ", "I am in Safi, are you coming?", "I am in Al Haouz, are you coming?”. Beyond the cities, known or less known destinations will also be highlighted, such as "I'm in Agafay, are you coming?", "I'm in Lalla Fatna, are you coming?”, “I'm in Sidi Kaouki, are you coming?”, “I'm in Youssoufia, are you coming?”, “I'm in El Kelâa Sraghna, are you coming?”, “I'm in Chichaoua, are you coming?”, “I'm in Rhamna, are you coming?”.

Spanning from the end of September to the end of December 2020, this campaign will be deployed mainly on digital and video to attract, convince and incite national and international travelers to come and rediscover this region in all its diversity. They will be able to find all the attractive offers from the region's establishments on the www.visitmarrake- ch.com/offres/ website.

Digital: as a privileged channel!

53% of the overall campaign budget is allocated to digital (41% to online advertising, and 12% to online press materi- als). A choice made to reach the millions of Moroccan and international proactive online users. Radio and posters will also be used to cover all communication channels and to reach a wider local target.

Video, as a major asset!

CRT Marrakech-Safi teams collaborated with local talents to create 32 videos covering the region as a whole and each territory with its signature activities. Each of the videos is an invitation to travel, especially on road trips, with maps and "Ntla9aw" geolocation pins. A nod to the upcoming national campaign of the ONMT which signature is "Ntlaqawfbladna".

With this campaign, the CRT Marrakech-Safi plays its role as a promotional leverage at the service of operators in the Marrakech-Safi Region.
