On March 8, 2017, the 51st International Tourism Exchange Berlin (ITB) was officially opened in Berlin. As the co-host of 2017 ITB, World Tourism Cities Federation (WTCF) led a delegation to attend ITB and hosted a forum with the theme of "World Tourism Economy Trends 2017 & Chinese Outbound Tourism ".
2017 International Forum on Chinese Outbound Tourism and Release of WTCF Research Result Held in Beijing
Recently, the 5th Global Summit on City Tourism of United Nations World Tourism Organization(UNWTO) was held at Luxor, Egypt. Cheng Hong, Executive Deputy Chairperson of WTXF Council and Vice Mayor of Beijing, attended the summit and delivered a speech to share Beijing and World Tourism Cities Federation s (WTCF) experiences on promoting tourism development and cooperation between cities.
In the five years, WTCF has received support of the local government of its headquarters, the United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), and other international organizations; in addition, the Federation also received the full trust and support of its city and institutional members.
