The digital platform for this year's China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) added new features Thursday to prepare for the upcoming event, according to the organizers.

The features include cloud exhibition, conference appointment, project launch, smart matching, and customer service center, to better connect exhibitors and buyers online despite the COVID-19 pandemic.

According to the organizers, the cloud exhibition module enables exhibitors to establish their booths online and showcase their products and best practices with user-friendly operations. 

The conference appointment module allows registered participants to apply for the use of virtual meeting rooms. The digital platform can accommodate 500 meetings at the same time.

The project launch system provides a virtual bulletin board for participants to publish their cooperation intentions to find business opportunities.

In addition to those modules, the digital platform also incorporated data analysis features to dig in and help match business opportunities. And the newly launched customer service center provides bilingual service around the clock to meet people's needs.

CIFTIS's digital platform was launched on June 16, with JD.com providing technical support. CIFTIS is the largest comprehensive exhibition specializing in the trade in services around the world, and serves as an important platform for China to advance opening-up.
