The digital platform for this year's China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) has gone online. It provides the upcoming event with new features, organizers say.
New features include cloud exhibition, video conferencing, and smart matching. These features allow exhibitors to more effectively connect with buyers online despite the COVID-19 pandemic.
The cloud exhibition module enables exhibitors to showcase their products and services through various mediums, such as video and 3D formats, that help suppliers and purchasers to forge relationships, and this process is streamlined with such technologies as big data and artificial intelligence.
Other activities, such as summits, industry conferences, panel meeting and product launches, will be held both onsite and online. The digital platform allows participants to apply for virtual meeting rooms, where they can conduct business negotiations, and participate in livestreams of the conference that are presented with bilingual services.
CIFTIS's digital platform was launched in June. China's e-commerce giant JD.com provided technical support for the platform. So far, operations of the digital platform, including the official website of the CIFTIS, the app and the operational system, have been running smoothly.
