6 guidelines for orderly work resumption of the cultural, radio, television and tourism industry in Chengdu

Recently, the Chengdu Municipal Bureau of Culture, Radio, Television and Tourism issued the "Notice on the orderly work resumption of the cultural, radio, television and tourism Industry during the prevention and control of COVID-19" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), covering 6 guidelines, which comprehensively and systematically developed the specific work measures for work resumption of cultural industry, which includes city’s public libraries, cultural centers (art galleries), grass-roots comprehensive cultural service centers, arts groups, performing arts venues, music companies, radio and television institutions, tourism accommodation, travel agencies and service outlets.

The "Notice" requires that Chengdu's cultural, radio, television and tourism industry should improve the mechanism of epidemic prevention and control, implement measures, order and classified resumption, and relevant strict work guidelines.

The "Notice" indicates that during the epidemic prevention and control period in Chengdu, confined spaces (places) where people gather, such as culture and entertainment establishments and Internet cafe in Chengdu will not be opened. The city's cultural and creative tourism enterprises must follow the relevant regulations issued by the authorities to resume in an orderly manner. Construction of major cultural and tourism projects begin, in accordance with the relevant regulations from the housing construction departments at all levels .

The "Notice" also requires that Chengdu’s relevant departments, district (city) and county governments at all levels must improve the supervision, inspection and guidance for the cultural and tourism industry on the epidemic prevention and control and to ensure the safety of orderly operation and opening.
