The facility is located about 18 kilometers to the southeast of Wuzhi County, Jiaozuo City. The main scene spots include the first gate of People's Victory Headwork, 30th Anniversary Opening’s Memorial, Yellow River Wetland, etc. The People's Victory Headwork, which has been the first large-scale Irrigation Water Conservancy Project since the founding of new China, began fully operational on April, 1952. Chairman Mao paid a visit here on October 31, 1952. Jiang Zemin, then General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee and Chinese President, had a visit on June 20, 1999. Water projects, exquisite pavilions, and lush trees constitute a beautiful picture scroll.
