In order to strengthen the tourism exchanges among members and to deepen practical cooperation, the Tourism Marketplace Trade Fair was held in the Sofitel hotel of Rabat, the Kingdom of Morocco on 21 September. Many Chinese and international famous buyers attended the trade fair,communicated with Moroccan sellers including Moroccan Shanghai travel agency, Morocco China Chamber of Commerce, city memebers including Copenhagen, Prague,Macau and Edinburgh, 20 famous travel service enterprises including China International Travel Service, China Travel Service, China Youth Travel Service, Utour,Caissa, BTG International Travel & Tours, HNA TOURISM, Beijing Tourism Group, Ctrip, China Railway Tourism, Beijing China International Travel Service Co., Ltd., Beijing China Travel Service, China Comfort Travel, China Environment International Travel Service Co., Ltd., Zhejiang China Travel Service, Jiangsu China Travel Service, Nanjing China International Travel Service, New Shanghai China Travel Service, HANATOUR,American International Travel Service Inc.. The trade fair aims at boosting the tourism development of Middle African and Mediterranean coast.
The business negotiation contents covered propaganda and promotion of tourist receptions, exhibitions, cruises and destinations, tourism products and so on. The Tourism Marketplace Trade Fair conducted a total of five rounds of appointments to discuss and launched a half-hour free negotiations. There were 150 buyers and sellers who had attended the negoniation.
Besides, to respond to the Summit, WTCF members such CITS, CAISSA Touristic and other travel agencies have also launched products of “Thousands of Tourists to Morocco 2015”. Up till September, more than 1200 tourists have participated in the activity. The holding of Rabat and Fez Fragrant Hills Summit in Morocco will surely stimulate Chinese tourists’ passion to travel to Morocco.
