【Introduction】:On July 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 6 new cases of confirmed infections.
On July 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 6 new cases of confirmed infections (all were imported cases, 3 in Shanghai municipality, 1 in Shanxi province, 1 in Chongqing municipality and 1 in Yunnan province), no new cases of suspected infections, and no deaths. 19 patients were released from hospital after being cured. 219 people who had had close contact with infected patients were freed from medical observation. The number of serious cases remained unchanged.
As of 24:00 on July 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland had reported 1,988 cases of imported confirmed infections and no deaths. In all, 1,902 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 86 confirmed cases (including 2 in serious condition) and 2 suspected cases.
As of 24:00 on July 14, the National Health Commission had received reports of 83,611 confirmed cases and 4,634 deaths in 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland, and in all 78,693 patients had been cured and discharged from hospital. There still remained 284 confirmed cases (including 3 cases in serious condition) and 3 suspected cases. 767,432 people had been identified as having had close contact with infected patients. 3,577 were still under medical observation.
On July 14, 31 provincial-level regions and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps on the Chinese mainland reported 4 new asymptomatic cases (all were imported cases). 4 asymptomatic cases were freed from medical observation (all were imported cases) and no asymptomatic cases became confirmed cases. As of 24:00 on July 14, 110 asymptomatic cases were still under medical observation (including 87 imported cases).
As of 24:00 on July 14, 2,066 confirmed infections had been reported in the Hong Kong and Macao special administrative regions and Taiwan province: 1,569 in Hong Kong (8 had died and 1,229 had been cured and discharged from hospital), 46 in Macao (45 had been cured and discharged from hospital) and 451 in Taiwan (7 had died and 440 had been cured and discharged from hospital).
