The company history

In 1993, Mang Chen and his wife began selling airline tickets to Chinese customers in Hamburg, following the Chinese community's desire for a Chinese-language business service. The next branch of the company were holiday trips to the Middle Kingdom. The first travel catalog appeared in 2000 and included a small selection of trips to China's most popular destinations, such as Beijing, Shanghai and Xi'an, as well as cruises on the Yangzi. In the following years, CAISSA further expanded its offer of Chinese travel and now offered entry-level, connoisseur and special travel. In 2012, the portfolio of the China expert was supplemented by art and private travel and rounded off by special group travel, individual travel and incentives.

Since 2003, however, the company's main focus has been on incoming tourism from China. When the European gates were opened to Chinese tourists for the first time this year, CAISSA began specializing in this important target group, as the demand for European travel grew steadily and continues to grow. Today, more than 100,000 Chinese travel to Europe each year with CAISSA and enjoy the specially designed travel service, which includes Chinese-speaking tour guides, hotel, visa and insurance services. Since 1999, more than 500 training courses have been conducted here and more than 7,000 participants have been trained.

CAISSA has been listed on the A-share market in Shenzhen since October 2015.
