【Introduction】:Although there’s not lack of hustle and bustle in Altona & Ottensen, it is still a liveable and lovely area for many families.
Until the 20th century, small handicraft workshops and workers' bars in the backyard of every family spread all over the city. The Altona & Ottensen became one of Hamburg's most dynamic and popular landscaped districts. Compared to other districts in Hamburg, the architecture is more closely spaced. The Elbe River crosses the southern part of the city, not too far from the Port of Hamburg. Although there’s not lack of hustle and bustle in Altona & Ottensen, it is still a liveable and lovely area for many families. Many young designers with inspiration, ideas and own products have moved into the old workshops in the backyard and are looking forward to the life here.
