Déryné Bistro

Chic, sexy, cosmopolitan, yet utterly local - Déryné opened on a street market, far away from the tourist crowds in the heart of a quiet Buda neighborhood on the summer of 1914. It has been the café to hang out and the spot to be seen ever since. Artists, authors, movie stars, designers, balerinas, the rich and famous shared the space with local crowds over coffee, drinks, food and the decadent magic lingering around its walls ever since. https://bistroderyne.com/en

Jardinette

You can find Jardinette far from the busy city centre, on the Buda Hills. In this charming garden restaurant, Hungarian paprika and sophisticated French cuisine coexist in harmony. Domestic rooster soup is served in a red enamel pot, evoking the Hungarian countryside not only with its flavours but its appearance as well. Light French flavours are best represented by St Jacob’s scallop from Caen and crab skewers. Desserts reflect the same duality: in addition to the heavenly apple pie and delicious chocolate cake, you can also try salted caramel from Normandy. https://jardinette.hu
